What is SIRA?

SIRA — Security Industry Regulatory Agency

SIRA is the Dubai Government authority responsible for regulating all security systems and security service providers across the emirate. Established under the Dubai Police General Headquarters, SIRA sets and enforces the legal standards for CCTV installation, storage, monitoring, and contractor licensing.

Technical Requirements

SIRA CCTV Technical Standards

Every CCTV system we install is engineered to meet SIRA’s specific technical requirements for your property category — before the inspector arrives.

Camera Resolution

Minimum 2 megapixels for standard commercial. High-risk locations (jewelry, banks) require higher resolution capable of clear facial capture at entry points.

Storage Duration

Minimum 30 days of continuous recorded footage for most properties. High-risk categories may require up to 90 days of storage.

Camera Coverage

All entry and exit points must be fully covered. Cameras must capture clear images of individuals entering and leaving the premises at all times.

Night Vision

All entry and exit points must be fully covered. Cameras must capture clear images of individuals entering and leaving the premises at all times.

Remote Access

SIRA-compliant systems must allow remote access for monitoring. Mobile viewing capability required and configured during installation.

Approved Equipment

Only SIRA-accepted camera brands and recording equipment permitted. Grey market or uncertified products will fail inspection regardless of specification.

Designed to pass. Built to last.

Our systems are engineered to SIRA standards before the inspector arrives. Correct camera positions, minimum resolution compliance, full entry/exit coverage, and 30-day storage — nothing left to chance. Our first-time approval record means our clients never face rework costs or repeat inspection delays.
